So glad you brought this up. It’s about time we expanded preemption to include ranges. Zoning has really been a pain for shooting facilities in so many areas. Fingers crossed this thing passes! Are there any folks here planning to reach out to their reps?

The usual carefully worded canned response of thank you for contacting my office … your voice matters … I take all my constituents seriously … the people in our area have strong opinions on this issue … honestly, I think it was an aid or some other representative of the representative. I think there must be a lot of political pressure from the urbanites. It doesn’t really affect the rural areas.
