Deer hunting regulation changes

Did anyone sit in on the Indiana's Deer Hunting Regulations, Webinar last night? There are lots of changes in the new regulations for this year. Some big ones are new rifle regulations and a Statewide antlerless bag limit. According to the presenter, many changes are intended to simplify or clarify existing regulations.

For me, one of the major changes was to downsize the Min projectile, to allow .224" projectiles to be used on Deer.
I DO hope that this does NOT cause more wounding of the Deer??..
It DOES open a hunter's choice on firearms to be used...Bill

I agree with the concerns about wounded deer when using small calibers. As with any weapon, shot placement is critical.
