Anyone else getting the wonderful blessing of windmills? So far I count 7 that will be in my field of view. Two are up. 5 others have the bases poured.

My nearest neighbor is a quarter mile away. But now that is biting me on the backside. It’s more than a little frustrating when your nice rural property becomes a power generation field.

I hate those things. Monuments to false savings. And then some.

A bunch in Eastern Tipton and Northern Madison County. Wait till you see what it does to antenna/satellite TV.

He finally mentioned that pre existing agreements would continue. It’s really upsetting. So far, I can count 7 from my front porch. They have really been busy the past couple weeks.

They are trying to put solar farms in down here

We get one of those too. Probably a windmills work around.

Well, I’m up to 11 visible from my front porch. They’ll never get the value of enjoying the view from your own property. Nothing new. I expect the natives didn’t like the view when the Mayflower pulled up. Dam those sails!

Well, they destroyed another horizon. I feel even worse for those that got a solar field out their back door. They go on for miles.

The irony is … they doubled the tax assessed value of my home this year. I suppose once everybody has some, the property values will stabilize. But for now, I expect some places you couldn’t give away. It’s a nasty business.
