I’m curious about where everyone likes to shoot. What’s your favorite range and what keeps you coming back? Is it the vibe, the staff, or something else?

For the nicest I’ve been to, it’s a tie. Either Wildcat Rifle & Pistol in Brookston, or Morgan County Sportsmans’ Conservation Club

Riley Conservation Club in Riley, IN near Terre Haute is the nicest I belong to.

I got lucky a few years back and bought a 5-acre wooded lot and built a small range of my own. I like to be able to shoot when time allows without any distractions.

I also have a 100yd range in the back yard.
The Alpena Sportsman's Club and the 600yd range.

This is me.
I bought 3.5 acres about 2 years ago.
I immediately put in a 50 yard range, but recently purchased an International 444 gas tractor with a loader bucket on the front.
I'm in the process now of building a 100+ yard range.
I love being able to step out the front door and go boom!

I have a short pistol range out back. I need to build a proper 100 yard range. A good place to put dirt from the pond I want to dig.
