What do you reload?

I'm always interested in what other reloaders are doing/using. My setup is pretty simple. I have a single stage Lyman Brass Smith. Most of my dies are Lee. I do have some RCBS die sets. I use a Lee Perfect Powder Measure and RCBS digital scale.

What I reload --

Because I have a single stage press, I don't do much 9mm. As long as I can buy 50 rounds at Rural King for $12-13, it seems like a poor use of my time. Plus after buying components, it's pretty much a break even at best. However, I like having the ability, "just in case."

I have considered reloading shot shells, I have a Lee Load-All II for 12 gauge. I bought it on a whim. A couple of years ago, Midway USA had them discounted, so I jumped. Honestly, I don't shoot shotgun often enough to need reloading. I just like the idea that I could if I need too.

One of these days...
Several years ago, shortly after Sandy Hook, I decided to get into hand loading.
I dove in head first and didn't look back.
Manuals first, then a Classic Lee Aniversary single stage kit.
Then I started buying dies.

I decided I needed to be able to load anything I shoot, whether economical or not. I still wanted to know I COULD load for everything I owned.

At last count, I had dies for 17 different calibers, I bought a boatload (10's of pounds) of powder, thousands of primers, thousands of cases and projectiles...
I had only loaded a few hundred .45 Colt, .38spl/.357mag, and a smattering of .32's a few .32H&Rmag, .32 longs/shorts, and a few .327 fed/mags.

Then my house burned down.
As it turned out, all of my loading supplies survived the fire and the fire department!

I packed it all up and put it in storage.
Fast forward 3 years and I finally managed to find a house I could afford.
A years worth of renovations and I'm living in it now, but still haven't set up the loading room again.
I have a room edition on the back that looked perfect...until I figured out that the foundation back there needs completely rebuilt on one wall, and there's a root cellar beneath the addition.
I get to replace the foundation about 10-12' deep!

Once that's done...I'll have the loading room of my dreams.

Retired and planned to get more involved again, but life changes with parents and in-laws put most of this on hold. Now I find I spend a whole lot of time with my grandkids. One day I hope to pass my knowledge on to them as well as some of my prized items.
