Hard Data From the Word Association Thread

I can make a big deal out of anything, complicate the simplest thing, and geek up a rock. The word association thread works like this if you are not aware:

1) Someone posts a word. Any word.
2) The next person posts what word they are reminded of.
3) Repeat.

Throughout this thread I’ve always looked at the first word on a page and the first word of the next. Maybe I think it’s interesting how unrelated those two words can be. I don’t know.
I told you I could make a big deal out of nothing.

Tonight I collected all of this vital data and will now share it. I don’t know how you’ve lived without it.

The first word on each of the first twelve pages:

Hoosier

House

Cisco

Firefighter

Cooling

Cheese

Royal

Blanket

Cold

Drop

Hammer

Tree(s)

Note: One third of these twelve words start with the letter “C”. This clearly means something.
To somebody.
Somebody worse than I.

And with that, it’s clearly time for me to go to sleep.

Yes, Casting might be it. I do need to cast a lot of things.
