I used to watch this one channel religiously until I noticed every review was glowing, every sponsor was 'the best,' and anything they weren't paid to promote was suddenly mediocre. It lost all credibility when they couldn't say a single negative thing about products that obviously had issues. I need honest reviews, not 20-minute commercials disguised as content

The gun magazines aren’t much different. The other one is the online auction sites. GB is -if you scratch my back, I’ll scratch yours- most sellers don’t give feedback unless you do. If you leave suggestions for improvement, they will trash you. Honestly, what does a buyer need to do but pay? If they eliminated buyer feedback, you might see some honest seller feedback.

It's pretty easy to spot those shill channels, especially when every single review is just glowing. When you stop seeing any criticism, that's usually where credibility just goes right out the window. People trust you a lot more when you're honest about the downsides than when you just push pure hype.

Yeah once everything is amazing, nothing actually is. Hard to trust reviews when nothing ever gets real criticism.
