How's the military surplus market looking these days? I remember when you could get a Mosin for less than $100 and stock up on surplus ammo without worrying. Now it feels like everything is either running low or priced like it's a rare collectible. Are there still some good deals out there if you know where to search, or have most of the great imports already been picked over? Is it still worth it?

It is a shock. I bought my first SKS NIB with a wood crate of ammo, 149.99. Now they want 450 for a beat up low grade. Good luck finding any Milsurp ammo.

My first Mosin was 40.00. Now I see guys teasing 850 and up. Crazy.

I haven’t seen any ammo in the tin, other than the occasional pop up at a gun show. Online I suppose. It’s a premium when you see it.

I totally get that feeling. I remember I got an SKS along with a crate of ammo for practically nothing, and now seeing those same setups priced so high just blows my mind. It’s like the whole market turned into collectors overnight, and dealers finally realized what people are willing to pay :ROFLMAO:
