Has anyone played with this cartridge? I’m doing a 17 Charger build. Mostly, it is just an itch that needs scratched. It has a lot of negative views on the 10/22 platform. I believe it is mostly due to improper builds. We’ll see. I like solving this type of puzzle.

That round gets way more hate than it really deserves and a lot of it comes from people who just slapped parts together and surprised when a rimfire wildcat didn’t act like a .22 LR.

When the bolt weight is just right, the spring is matched, and the chamber is cut clean, it’s an incredibly fun little round.

Parts are getting hard to find. But I have managed to round up a wolf spring set, a VQ heavy bolt, and a barrel on the way from Beyer. Going to build it on a BRN-22 receiver.
