Remington 870 vs Benelli m4

You didn’t specify the use. The 870 has sure taken a lot of game over the years. I feel no need to trade it in.
Benelli does make a nice tactical gun.
Maybe both? Two different purposes, two different guns.

Like Frontiersman, I’m not sure for what purpose, but:
I have both, use the M4 a lot more, and would choose it if I could have only one.
My needs/uses are defense and occasional 3-gun/2-gun.
Having said that, it’s a Benelli M1 by the bed and not the M4, but only because I have a light on the M1.
