Rabbit hunting

I hardly see any rabbits in the wild. Most of them live in my backyard, in the city. My wife, and city ordinances, won't let me hunt them. At any given time we have 2-4 rabbits in the back or side yard.

It's been years since the rabbit hunting was any good around here, (Delaware county). Since the farmers took out the fence rows, the habitat is all but gone.

It’s the same here. Rabbits were plentiful when we had fence rows 40 years ago. Now, almost rare. Of course, you see them in town.

I’m actually growing a fence row and letting the majority of my field grow wild with some small shrubs. I have a pretty good population now, but it took about 10 years.
