We usually hold two NRA Basic Pistol classes each fall. Currently, it looks like we will only do the October one in 2026.

You need a safe working handgun and 50-100 rounds of ammunition. If you don’t have a gun, we can probably arrange something but I need to know ahead of time. The NRA prefers you use at least 9mm/.38 Spl caliber, but the NRA isn’t buying the ammo so anything is fine with me.
Cost? CHEAP!
The class is $40.
If you’ve looked around for this class, it’s usually $125 and up. I would guess the average is around $150.
Not at DCC. It’s only $40.
$40!!!
Why only $40? Because the club wants to get people trained more than we want to make money. The fee covers the costs. Tell your friends.
PLEASE NOTE:
While it’s called “Basic” just about anybody can learn something.
Sign up if you need it or want it.
Sign up if you want something to do that day.
Sign up the family member who won’t listen to you.
Give it to someone as a present. Tell them it cost you $250.
Give it to your kid to get them out of the house at least one day.
If you haven’t heard, it’s only $40.
Spread the word. If we get too many, don’t worry, I can schedule more classes.
