Mostly I have Red Dots on the handguns, and Cross hair's on the long guns.
I guess, when I get on range, and a "Fouling Shot" or two on my long guns, I just see where it's hitting??
I'm not a good enough shot on my handgun Dots to blame the optics for a large group??..HA HA..Bill.
I only use 1 pistol with a scope and no red dots or holographic. I've got red dots and scopes on most of my rifles and once set very seldom ever check zero before hunting. I use steel mounts only and normally never remove the scope but I do an ATN digital that moves between 2 rifles and I will shot a qualifying round to make sure that the profile for that rifle stayed true (the scope has the ability save multiple profiles for different loads and/or rifles)
