Happy to be here. I'm still trying to nail down my range setup. What gear do you always pack that makes everything a bit easier?

Welcome.

It's not so much what to pack, but making sure not to forget anything.

I try to never rush and always check to be sure I have everything after it's loaded in my vehicle.

I've got extra hearing protection in every bag I use for the range. The foam type ear plugs are cheap. I put them in the pockets of all my range bags.

I always have a first aid kit.

Welcome from Columbia City.

What i pack to the range depends on what firearms I'm planning on shooting and how much shooting I'm going to do. I like to keep bore brush and swabs with me I'm working up loads or intent on shooting a lot of ammo.

-Vortex Monocular
-Brass rod, 1/4” dia, about 6” long
-Brass hammer
-Masking tape
-Duct tape
-Scissors
-Ear plugs, in case my muffs disappear or someone else needs some.
-Pens, pencils, and a Sharpie or two
-Various batteries

-Spotting scope
-Scope stand

-Benchrest
-Rear bag
-Wedge shaped rear bag (doubles as pistol rest)

-Stack of various targets, and backer cardboard

-Chronograph
-Batteries and power pack for Chronograph

This all goes in two Costco plastic storage bins
Tripod for chrono goes between the bins.
