Hey everyone, I thought it'd be a good idea to start a thread where we can share our honest reviews of local gun shops. What makes a gun shop trustworthy to you? Have you had a great experience somewhere, or maybe a not-so-great one? I'm always on the lookout for shops that really know their stuff and treat customers right.

If you've got a favorite place, let us know where it is, what their used gun selection is like, and how reasonable their prices or transfer fees are. Let's help each other find those hidden gems or avoid the duds. Looking forward to hearing your stories!

Bite the Bullet in Seymour, IN. They usually have 25 to 27 used guns. Prices are good. The customer service is great. I have all my internet buys shipped here, but it has been a while. I usually just buy from them.

US Defense Solutions. They have a few stores around central southern Indiana. I've dove business with them and known the owner who started the first store for years and years. Good people to do business with.

+++++ for Hoosier Armory in Noblesville. Owner Rick O'Leary is very good to deal with...unless some idiot drives a stolen car through the front door around 4:00 a.m. for a smash-and-grab.

Madison Outdoors in Madison, IN. They major in ammo and reloading. They no longer sell firearms. Anytime I visit Madison, I plan a trip to their store. They are a good source for Powder, primers and projectiles. They usually have a very good selection and their prices are as reasonable and anywhere else.
